Bourne Set To Take The HIA Home Show By Storm

Melbourne’s biggest renovation and design show is being held at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre between the 26th April and 29th April, and is once again expected to attract huge crowds. Bourne’s Marketing Director James Bourne was very excited his company would be appearing at this year’s show. “The HIA Home Show is iconic in our industry, and I’m looking forward to us being part of the event”, he beamed.

Bourne Bathroom and Kitchen Centre has been helping customers create their perfect homes since 1987, so it’s fair to say they know their stuff. Mr Bourne hopes they’ll be able to make a real impression on visitors to the show. “We’re going to show people how to convert small spaces into functional en-suites, and transform their bathroom from dated to designer. We’ll also be showing off the very latest trends in bathrooms and kitchens for 2012”, he explains.

Renovating a kitchen or bathroom can be a time consuming, costly, and stressful experience. So what does Bourne do as a company to make life easier for those taking on the task? “Redoing your bathroom or kitchen can make a massive difference to your home. We’re dedicated to giving customers exceptional customer service, inspirational show rooms, and an extensive range of designer brands at affordable prices.

We’re not just about selling kitchens and bathrooms. We walk customers through the whole process from start to finish. Making sure they get the best result possible, at the best possible price. Hopefully we’ll be able to give people at the HIA Home Show some tips and inspiration. Renovating your home doesn’t have to be as scary as people think you know”, he says with a smile.

Over 300 exhibitors are expected at this year’s event, so consumers will have an opportunity to compare prices, as companies do their best to prove themselves the “best in show.” With under a week to go until the start of the event, companies will be readying themselves for a busy week of sales. We asked Mr Bourne how high Bourne Bathroom and Kitchen Centre had set its sales targets for the event.

“Listen it would be lovely to get a healthy number of sales from the event, but my experience is these shows, especially the HIA, are a long-term investment.
Even if people don’t buy from us on the day, hopefully we’ll give a good enough impression of ourselves they’ll come back to us when they need something done. If that’s a couple of years down the road so be it. For me these shows are about building relationships and brand awareness. Sales at the stand are an added bonus.”

If you’re thinking about renovating your bathroom or kitchen head down to the HIA Home Show next week, and be sure to have a chat to one of Bourne’s expert advisors. With over 25 years experience in the industry you’re sure to get good advice.
